The Clinicians at WillAbbi Camps are Registered Social Workers and are an integral part of the WillAbbi Camps Team. Our clinicians have extensive clinical experience working with individuals, parents and children from separated and divorced families. They conduct the Parent Workshops as well as provide on-site support to the children as required.
Biographies
Stella Kavoukian M.S.W., R.S.W.
Stella is registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers, and received her master’s degree in 1982. She has extensive clinical experience working with individuals, parents and children in social distress and emotional crisis. Her practice with adolescents focuses on coping with life stress, school and behavior problems, peer and family relationships. Stella also works and teaches in the areas of separation, divorce and the emotional and practical consequences of coping with loss. She has advised the courts in these matters and works with parents in formulating cooperative parenting plans through mediation.
Linda Popielarczyk M.S.W., R.S.W.
Linda holds her masters degree in social work and is registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers. With 25 years of experience, her expertise includes the range of issues emerging from separation, divorce and remarriage; high conflict in separation and divorce; and conflict resolution. Linda also has extensive experience in child development including work with families of children with developmental differences, and consultation to other professionals on the related psychosocial issues. With experience in a variety of treatment settings, Linda is currently in private practice where she provides a range of services to individuals, couples and families, including therapy; parenting plan mediation; parenting coordination; and, custody and access assessments. Linda also teaches courses in Mediation, and High Conflict Separation and Divorce.
